Pure Heaven

He was in heaven!

B and I stopped in at Wal.greens to pick up some milk last week. We happened to walk past some marked down water toys.  When I saw the Lightning Mc.Queen Slip.n.slide for $5, I knew we had to buy it!  B had no idea what it was, but was thrilled about anything having to do with water in the backyard.  He was so excited that he couldn't settle down enough for a nap that day.  I finally gave up on that notion and rushed out to the backyard to set the slip-n-slide up!

He literally just ran around the yard and squealed for a while before he decided to try it.  It was so precious to watch the joy on his face.

He didn't stop moving the whole time; which did not make for super clear pictures.  I was pretty excited about the pictures I did catch.

It didn't take too much convincing for the two sweet neighbor girls to join us.

Which means, that his seven year old friend taught him that sliding on your tummy was way more fun.

We took a watermelon break about an hour into the fun!

He almost fell asleep at dinner that night.  He took a few scratches and bruises and even a burned up tummy to bed, but there was no complaining!

I captured the pictures with my iPhone and edited with snap.seed or instagram {bumberjoy screen name}.

  3. prinstagram.com--go there!  that picture needs to be memorialized.  it's flipping amazing! i wish georgia would brave up and go down a slip n'slide the right way.  she's so afraid of water hitting her in the face!  drives me bonkers.

  4. Oh how fun!!!  I am so jealous - gravel yards here in AZ don't make for fun slip n slide experiences, lol. I love when our kids have SO much fun:)!

  9. So fun!  I thought you said Walmart - so we went there in search of one - found something similar - the boys had a blast this morning.  Although Isaac is super careful and will only walk down the slide.  Huck asked if Brayden went fast on his belly (think he's wishing Isaac was a little more carefree with it).
