Embrace the Camera-Chick-Fil-A!

This past Monday on MLK jr day, we had a fun morning at home with Nate.  He had the opportunity to go fly for a little while that day (which I definitely encouraged)!  I asked B what he wanted to do and of course he answered with his common, "let's go to Chicalay [Chick-Fil-A]!!"

Chick-fil-A currently has these strange cow watches for their kid's meal toy.  It's fine for the first time, but it's been over two months and this house can only handle so many cow watches. I tried talking him into trading it in for an ice cream cone or a book (did you know you can do that?), but he was really wanting another cow watch.  I finally, against his will, just said, we are going to trade it for ice cream.  He fussed for a minute and then his eyes lit up when I handed him his very own ice cream cone.  

He was kind enough to share some of it with me.  I've decided to rock the curly look with the half-marathon training.  It's not an easy thing to straighten this huge hair so much.  

As B was just finishing his ice cream cone up, a nice lady walked by and asked if we would like a watch since her son didn't want it.  So B scored another watch and an ice cream cone!  Fun how those things work themselves out some time.  He was really excited.  

After our Chicalay trip, We pulled out a fun new puzzle (I scored a couple of these cool Melissa & Doug puzzles with a free $30 gift card that Kohl's sent me for some ordering issues around christmas time)!

B decided his shirt was too itchy and he didn't want another one on for a while!

I love the way he finds cute little places to sit around the house!  

He loves music and any toys that have songs on them!
