Pumpkin Patch Adventures

A friend and I gathered our little ones and headed off to the pumpkin patch to "attempt" to take some nice fall pictures.  Both of our little ones are close to two years old and are such precious little friends.  They are drastically opposite in everything, except for their affection for each other [well most of the time]!

First things first--find the airplane and try to spin the propeller (B has been hanging around daddy too much)

Then off to see some stinky animals -- Yuck!

A little swinging...

And then some lovey-dovey pumpkin patch pictures...aren't these two are a crack-up?

We took a quick apple cider doughnut and apple cider break.

Oh wait, NO THROWING the cider at the cashier!!

And then....after some very loud tantrums and wrestling, we stuffed the little ones into their costumes.  After all, what fun is Halloween without a little torture from your mom to wear a suit that is way too hot and uncomfortable?

We thought we would try a wagon ride, but this little monkey was NOT having it!

Okay, will you at least sit on some pumpkins and try to act like you are having fun?

...or use it like a potty...

Happy ending--a picture for the baby book!

I love this little man!  There really is not a better costume to depict his character!

blogging again...

Okay, this is it, I'm going to try to enter the world of blogging.  I blogged a few years ago, but I was working full-time and just did not have the ability to keep it up.  After we adopted our precious little man, I shut the blog down for privacy's sake.  I'm a terrible written journaler (I know that's not really a word) and would like to keep track of fun stories and adventures with Brayden.  I am, in no way, a writer, so please have mercy on me....

I've been married for over seven years to my gorgeous husband, Nathan.  After several years of struggling with infertility, God blessed us with Brayden.  He is a wild crazy little monkey!  Our life was fun and adventurous before he came along, but is rich, full and way more fun now.  We are extremely blessed by open adoption with Brayden's birth-mom and her family.  We never imagined that our adoption path would turn out this way.  I will share more about this in the future, but just know that our open adoption "family" is amazing and difficult at the same time.  There is much pain, but I can say that JOY outweighs the pain!

Here are a few pictures of our cute family.
